Dr. Chet Coles
Dr. Coles is a native of Baton Rouge and attended medical school at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans where he received his medical degree in 1973. He completed a year of Internship in Radiology at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans. The following year, Dr. Coles began his residency training in Diagnostic Radiology at the Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, which he completed in 1977. During his residency training, Dr. Coles served as the Chief Resident of the Ochsner Diagnostic Radiology residency program.
Dr. Coles is board certified in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of Louisiana.
After completing his formal clinical training, Dr. Coles specialized in virtually all areas of Diagnostic Radiology, including, but not limited to, Mammography, Breast MRI and Bone Mineral Density Assessments. From 1977 through 1979, he served as a Professor of Radiology at the Earl K. Long Hospital (part of the Louisiana State University system) in Baton Rouge. From 1977 through 2009, Dr. Coles served as a Staff Radiologist and the Chief of Radiology at Women’s Hospital in Baton Rouge. Dr. Coles joined Breast Center of Acadiana in 2011.
