When should I begin having yearly screening mammograms?

If you are not experiencing breast symptoms and/or problems, the guidelines of the American College of Radiology provide that you should begin having screening mammograms at 40 years of age, or earlier, if you are at high risk – such as having a family history of breast cancer.
